Welcome to Volunteer LdB, designed to help connect volunteers with our local organizations and the volunteer opportunities available in Lac du Bonnet!

Volunteers make our community stronger and more vibrant by providing many services, events, and attractions that make Lac du Bonnet such an amazing place to live. Did you know that volunteers organize the yearly Canada Days Celebrations, the Ice Fishing Derby, and the Fire & Water Music Festival? Or that Blueberry Rock, Bluewater South, the Wildlife Ponds, and the Snowmobile trails are all operated and managed by volunteers? How about the Lac du Bonnet and District Museum, or the Lunch is On Us Program and the Community Garden – yep – all volunteers. These events, services and attractions wouldn’t exist without the generous dedication of our community.

Volunteering allows us all to contribute to the community we love so much; it also provides us with exciting skill-building opportunities that look great on resumes and fantastic opportunities to make new friends and connect with the community. The best part about volunteering in Lac du Bonnet is that the opportunities are amazingly diverse! There are many volunteer opportunities to choose from, from prepping meals to serving soup or working with a team to organize a community event, painting props, or even measuring fish.
